Useful Info

Gloden Rule: "Seek and you shall Find, Ask and you shall Receive"

As part of its commitment to supporting the community of Vanuatu students in Canberra, the Canberra Vanuatu Students Association (CVSA) would like to give some tips on certain aspects of living and surviving in Canberra for future or potential students. The information provided in this page were never provided to us during our AusAID briefings that we feel that it is important that we inform future students in advance to make life a bit more enjoyable for them in Australia’s capital city. All the tips provided in this page are from our personal experiences as Vanuatu students coming into Canberra from the first time.

Please note the following:
  1. This information is only provided as a guide, you should not rely entirely on them as the final word; we believe everyone has the capability of making their own decision and choice.
  2. This information does not cover general or common information as we believe that any Vanuatu students who make the decision to study abroad would have been informed or are capable enough to live and survive in a foreign country.
  3. Not all the information may be applicable to you, but we hope you will find the relevant tips useful.
  4. Some of the information on this page may also be applicable to other Australian cities.
  5. The information contained is subject to change without CVSA’s knowledge, but we would try and keep it updated as much as we can.
