- Put up posters around campus
- Use ANU Classifieds
- Give away to friends
- Dispose at the second-hand shop bins around the shopping centres
- Dispose at the Resource Management Centres.

- Pacific Connect. The person whom the students have liaised with was Polikapi. Their price of shipping a container to Vanuatu from Canberra is AU$4,500 (June 2011 figures).
- Qantas Courier. Use their shipping service to ship 1m3 (7 large boxes) of personal effects (using their shipping service) for a student discount price of $400 (July 2011 figures)!
- It turns out cheaper to use a container than to send loose cargo, if the cost of the container is shared amongst students.
- 1m3 is a lot!!
