The Coaches are pretty great way to travel from Sydney to Canberra or vice versa (though 3.5 hours trip) and very cheap too. In the past we have used Greyhound and Murrays coaches.
The Coaches are pretty great way to travel from Sydney to Canberra or vice versa (though 3.5 hours trip) and very cheap too. In the past we have used Greyhound and Murrays coaches.
Tips:
- When you visit the Greyhound website for example, to pay for tickets, the "Payment" button on the left has options. Make sure you click on the "Netsaver Student" in your case - it has some discounts.
- There are specials from time to time. See if any are available on dates you're travelling.
Notes:
- Fare for student normally around $32 one way.
- No real price differences between two companies.
- Sometimes Murrays leaves earlier than Greyhound (especially on Sunday mornings).
By Train
If you would like to be adventurous, you could travel by train. The fare is more dear than coaches.
