On Friday 10th December 2010, an additional two Masters students graduated from the ANU, specifically the Crawford School of Economics and Government. John Iaken Ezra with Master of Public Policy and William Bani Arudovo with Master in Environmental Management and Development and Post-Graduate Diploma in Environmental Management and Development.
Graduation took place from 10am to 12pm. It was a beautiful, fine summer day. The keynote speaker during the graduation ceremony, Dr. Alex Zelinsky, one of Australia’s top 100 Most Influential Engineers in 2009, 2010, spoke frankly of the need to “be passionate” about one’s future career and to always aim high.
The remaining CVSA students take this opportunity to warmly CONGRATULATE John and William, and heartily wish them well in their future endeavours as they look forward to joining Vanuatu’s workforce in their respective areas of specialisation. The day ended with a final evening at CVSA President’s residence for some food and reflections before William commenced the journey home the next day followed by John and his family on Sunday 12th Dec.
