Kastom - Arts of Vanuatu

The National Gallery of Australia are in the final stages of organisation for an exhibition Kastom: Art of Vanuatu http://www.nga.gov.au/Kastom/  which is due to open in early February 2013.

In an e-mail to CVSA, dated 26 October 2012, Crispin Howarth, the Curator of the Pacific Arts at the National Gallery of Australia, invited all ni-Van community members resident in the ACT along to enjoy the opening of this exhibition but also to arrange a private community access viewing prior to the show opening to the general public.

This is a special time to show case our Vanuatu culture and CVSA together with the office of our High Commission will work closely with the Pacific Arts of the National Gallery of Australia.
