An enthusiastic group of forty ni-Vans Students, Residents and Friends beat the cold, windy and wet Canberra winter to celebrate Vanuatu’s 30th Independence Anniversary at Glebe Park, Canberra city. It was described by a Resident that despite the weather, the presence of the crowd displayed the true ni-Van spirit and culture.Click here to view the program of the day.
Both, Students and Residents alike, enjoyed being able to meet each other, most of them for the first time, that there are already talks to have another Vanuatu get-together in spring when Canberra warms up.
