CVSA Farewells founding members

On Sunday 23rd May 2010, the CVSA members and their families came together to farewell two of the CVSA founding members and their families. Johnny Koanapo will be graduating with a Master of Public Policy specializing in International Policy and a Master of Diplomacy while Jerryson Lapi will be graduating with a Master of Graduate Studies specializing in Finance and International Trade. Both of these members will be graduating in July from the Australian National University and will be returning to their respective duties in the Vanuatu Government; Koanapo will be returning to the Department of Foreign Affairs and Lapi will be taking up his new role at the Prime Minister’s Office.

CVSA would like to thank both these faithful members for their vision in establishing CVSA and for their continuous support and contribution towards the work of the Association. We wish them all the best in the future endeavors and we believe that their qualifications will greatly boost the works of their respective offices in the Vanuatu Government.

The event was also an opportunity for CVSA to welcome other Vanuatu students studying in Canberra to formally be a part of CVSA. The executive would like to further thank its members and families for making this day an enjoyable one. Thank you to ol mama for the yummy food and ol pikinini who kept the place lively.
