Farewell for Mr. Howard Aru and Family

Newly elected CVSA President, Mr. Iavro Robson (standing behind the Aru family) thanked Mr. Howard Aru and family for their kind assistance, support and leadership towards CVSA and the Vanuatu Canberra community at large over the past 2 and half years.

"We know that you have been very instrumental and supportive in various ways towards our community as additional responsibilities to your busy study schedule. These are leadership qualities that we have learned from you."

In respond, Mr. Aru stressed the importance of keeping the fire of community life burning as well as keeping our study and work priorities. He urged the members of the Vanuatu Canberra community to work more closely with the Office of the High Commission now that we have the High Commissioner here with us.

Mr. Howard Aru will be graduating next month with two Masters degree - Public Policy and Diplomacy from the Australian National University.

We take this opportunity to congratulate Mr. Aru for this high and important achievement and wish him and family all the best and a safe trip to Vanuatu.
